high creatinine

Back when I was taking creatine, my blood work showed high creatinine.

Basically my kidneys weren't able to handle the extra load, and I had to stop taking creatine.

High creatinine is a sign that your kidneys aren't working properly. Only a doctor can help you figure out the reason. Suggest you get this checked out asap, because last I remember, kidney damage is irreversible.

I have it too. I eat a lot of protein and work out a lot so that's normal for the most part. You will see a kidney specialist like I did. As long as it isn't too high you will be fine. The kidney dr took one look at me and said I was in the acceptable range for someone like me. If you are really worried? Go to davepalumbo.com and buy his Kidney Stuff. That will help you I'm sure.

You're going to die.
Eventually everyone does.

My creatinine level was 10 back in January due to an infection running rampant in my body.

It's between 2 and 3 now. While that's high (and I'm still recovering), my kidney doctor says I can still live a normal life if I take very good care of myself.

Talk to your doctor.

It could be hypertension. It could be diabetes. It could be several other things.

Why the fuck do people keep asking Sherdog for medical advice?????

If only there was some sort of profession that specifically dealt with diagnosing and treating medical issues....
Because BROscience trumps all science.

So do you have permanent kidney damage? My level was 1.31. Is that a level of irreversible damage?

Had to stop using creatine because it gave me major cramps when I train.

Well, my kidneys cant process creatinine as it is, so they already dont work like normal kidneys.

I do need to get another test done soon to see how they're doing.
