I was lucky enough to see Hendo H-Bomb Michael Bisping back to 1776 in person. The two loudest moments at any sporting event that I can remember was that KO and Wanderlei's rape choke KO over the Dean of Mean.

Hendo's a legend. His 1st fight with Shogun is probably my all time favorite fight.

Hendo was a LHW in this fight [198 lbs], while Nog was a HW [230 lbs].

As always, tough Hendo fight to score...
At the end of the regular time [2nd Rd], the judges had it a Draw [x3].
Hendo was declared winner at the end of the 3rd Rd, but one could say that Nog was arguably winning by
the end of the 2nd Rd:

Nog connected with 1 punch, Hendo had a few decent knees to the body.
Nog got the TDs, but got reversed. Nog even got the full mount (actually got 1 in each round),
but didnt transition to anything threatening...

Nog again got the TDs, Hendo threatened twice with [not so tight] guillotines.
Then Nog got the full mount, transitioned to a [decent] armbar but had his legs in the wrong position to secure it.

Dan Henderson has one of the greatest resumes in MMA if not, the greatest. Hendo might not have ever had the long championship reign that all of the other fighters had who’s names get thrown into the GOAT conversation, but Dan Henderson’s name 100% belongs in the mix as one of the greatest fighters to ever compete in MMA.

Biggest robbery in mma history imo. Not getting a 10-8 in either of the first 2 rounds is incomprehensible. Then Bisping did fuck all in the 5th round besides get cheered the whole time for still having a pulse. 50 year old Henderson out fought cardio Bisping in that 5th, regardless of the worst judging ever in the first 2 rounds.

I walked up to him at MGM the night before Jones/Cormier. He was with his wife (who I think was his girlfriend at the time. The young, blonde one). I walked up to him side on and stuck out my hand for a handshake and said "Hey Hendo. Big fan". He looked down at my hand and then up into my eyes, smirked and then just walked off with his woman.

It was pretty shocking actually because everything I had heard about him was that he was such a standup guy.

Long story short, back in my hotel room I stood in front of my mirror for about 45 minutes practicing my jab and circling away from his right hand ready to bang him out the next night at the fights. But they have lots of ushers and security that patrol the floor seats so I couldnt get through to him. If only he knew how close he was to getting a broken orbital from my jab.
