yes theres real and fake slow motion. real slow motion is using a camera that takes a huge amounts of frames per second(ex: 960fps) instead of a regular camera that takes 60fps.
fake slow motion is using software that takes a regular 60fps camera video, and guesses the frames in between using machine learning and various algorithms to blend the whole thing together. it doesnt have the real missing information that a real slow motion video would have, and thats what we care about when viewing slow motion, for those details.
