Not sure whether it's just common knowledge that Herb used to fight, but he did, so here's a video.

Yeah, pretty common knowledge. Not the best fighter in the world, but he put himself out there and that deserves hespect. Gives him more credibility as a ref in my eyes, too. He's lived it.

Nah, he's in federal prison for growing a lot of weed.
Plus, since it's a felony, he'll never referee in the states again. A real shame. He was one of my favorites to be honest.
