First off im a cejudo fans since he won gold, but as the fight nears the more i see him letting it slip away.

Not a big fan of MM but i recognize the world class skill and accomplishments he possesses.

I would love to see Cejudo take the title i believe having a Olympic champ as ufc champ would bring more attention to the division but unfortunately i see Cejudos calmness costing him the fight.

Cejudo has been improving big time on his boxinh but there is no way he will out strike MM. Cejudos best chance would be his wrestling if he fought the way Couture and Hughes did there hey day i would be very confident in Cejudo beating mm.

Unfortunately Cejudo willingness to improve his striking has seen his wrestling fall back a bit. If he can fight to his strenghts he can maul mm for the W but i think we'll end up seeing Cejudo chasing mm around the cage getting countered all night long.

Hope im wrong though.

The man's gameplan is "Cheese". What do you think?
He thinks DJ is really a mouse. He should have said "Cat", that's better.

Not bad to be honest. It's a good fight.

The one positive is that Cejudo absolutley believes he can win. He's got a champions mentality.

I don't think his chances are that bad. if he finds success early I like his chances a lot more. I watched him lose at the brute/adidas national tournament in 2004. Obviously a long time ago but when you see someone with a reputation as an absolute bad ass wilt when things aren't going there way, you don't forget it. That's why I think early success and a diverse offense is paramount to his chances and a come from behind victory is very unlikely. MM adapts very quickly.

Very solid fighter- but I just don't really see him bringing much to the table that Mighty Mouse hasn't seen and dealth with before.

Cejudo has very competent striking, but he is not as dynamic or dangerous as Dodson in that dimension.

He has great wrestling credentials but I don't see his mma wrestling as some insurmountable force. And, to be fair, it's been very rare to see DJ taken down and held down. Just because Cruz was able to do it and Uncle Creepy did years ago does not mean it is easy to accomplish.

More than likely DJ can negate Cejudo's wrestling and outstrike him. He is just so crisp and well-rounded. I feel that this is going to be another lopsided decision. Cejudo might fare better than some others, but I don't see him taking the belt.

WOW a thread that is not about Conor. How dare you?

Anyway, anyone who is Olympic gold medalist has a chance if he play the right game. He could try to stay in the clinch and use his strenghts is his advantage. But I don't know. This division is so tricky.

I will never bet against DJ, he's simply the most skilled fighter in MMA right now.

Well Cejudo has a huge size advantage ... i think that´s gonna be though for MM to deal with ... i hope he does tho

There is zero chance of Cejudo winning. MM would have to break his fists on Cejudo's face for MM to lose.

I am the Legend of picks, see my signature line.

Love Cejudo's wrestling career, but I think MM is too skilled at MMA. Should be a good fight, but I see MM as step ahead the entire fight.
