Henry cejudo. Why do we hate him

In my opinion that's Anderson Silva. MIDDLEWEIGHT champion. The weight at which most men fall; the average.

Cejudo is smaller than the average man by a margin, with inferior competition as a result. The fact that he ignores this smugly makes him unlikeable for me.

Wrong, that weightclass is LW, not MW. That's why there are more competition at LW than in any other weightclass. BWs actually are closer to an average size male who is in shape, than MW's.

I'm confused, can you explain the rationale for that sentiment?

I would think 185lb is a average size for most men.

Arguably LW, but below that I'm not convinced.

For a sport practised by ex-cons, wife beaters and drug addicts, any negative impact from Cejudo's antics shouldn't even register as a blip. (I agree they can be silly, for what it's worth.)
I see your point. I just think his antics are seen negatively and unattractive.

I live in California USA. When I go places like Costco or Walmart(lots of people there) Average would probably be 5’7” . The next generation is probably gonna be a bit bigger. Also lots of fat peoples not typically fit. Just big and fat.

MW's are relatively big men, remember they weigh 185lbs only briefly on a scale. They can easily weigh over 220lbs with average male bodyfat and still be in decent shape. That's far from average.

MMA fans have been hating on the little people division and its fighters/champ since a long time ago.

Even though Cejudo's performances have been impressive and his fights exciting, he's no different in that regard.

It shows there's still some way to go closing the gap between retarded pro-wrestling fans (current UFC fans) and sports fans with hespect for the game (eg, boxing fans).

So maybe on reflection WW is a better measure?

GSP comes to mind as an average guy in great shape.

I respect the hell out of Henry the athlete.

I'm annoyed to all hell by his schtick, though.

I figure it's the same for a lot of others.

WW's are close, its the second most crowded weightclass, not much behind LW. But LW's are +170lbs in shape, that's about where the average size for a non overweight western male is. And obviously if we talk about the whole world, Asia etc. then the average drops significantly.

Henry is the GOAT little man. If he truly retires, they should can the lowest weight classes. No use in those lands with no king to rule them

He's annoying and the FLW situation with TJ where he proclaimed himself the savior of the division then did the same thing showed his true colors. Dude's Conor'd the 125 and 135 divisions.

I wanted to like him, find a lot of cringy shit entertaining. Can't be done.

Lmao even DC admitted during the fight they had TD stats all wrong because most of you casuals don’t actually understand how wrestling is scored. There’s a reason DJ limped to the post presser and started citing a bunch of injuries and then promptly went to go seek out lesser competition. Feel free to go back and forth with me but the reality is that Cejudo won and that is just a fact.

I don’t dislike him at all except when he calls himself the greatest combat sports athlete of all time. He has amazing credentials and has done well for the weight divisions he has competed in fighting but by no means is he the greatest combat sports athlete of all time.

He's very respectable at best, annoying at worst.
I reserve hatred for total douches in the sport, and Henry is not one of them.

I like him.

I just don't think he's better than MM. They're 1-1 with the only clear win being MM stopping him, the other was a toss-up. If a rubbermatch was ever warranted it was this.

he's a total dork who's trying to hard outside of the cage, but I enjoy everything he does inside the cage
