Most fighters are horrible at picking fights. Like 90% of them picked Usman to win last night.

Nobody believes in Leon for whatever reason.

Not if you actually understood ALL of the differences in the dynamics of the rematch, and the trilogy.

I was astounded that people didn’t see them. Completely opposite fights in pretty much every single way. And that was clearly evident in the way the two fights went down.

I listed a shitload of totally opposite aspects before the trilogy happened.

It could be that Cejudo thinks Usman beat Colby just because he has more power, but that wasn't relevant in the matchup with Leon because he couldn't land clean on Leon. Colby on the other hand maybe has better pressure/cardio and is a bit more technically sound on the feet.

I don't think it's the consensus that Colby is better than Usman besides power, but power did seem to be the difference in their fights and, again, it wasn't relevant in Usman's fights with Leon.

Actually I recall Colby outstriking Usman before getting hurt in the 1st fight and then being tentative for the 1st two rounds of the 2nd so perhaps that is what Cejudo sees.

I can't handle Colby with the title. I'm picking Leon to win, but my psyche can't handle Colby as a champ.

Colby is a poor man's Usman, no he won't beat Leon.

Leon did what Gane couldn't do- he went all in for successful TD defense. That's obviously why he won; Usman could not use his wrestling game because Leon stifled it. I don't see Colby doing any better than Usman.

I don't agree with Henry here at all. Edwards is a better striker and has a better clinch game than Colby and his TDD looks very strong too. He also isn't afraid to mix up well timed takedowns himself. Edwards looks like a bad match up for Colby to me.

Colby is 35 and was a relatively easy fight for Usman all things considered. A very stupid pick

Colby has a great chin an endless cardio to go with constant pressure. Fight will be fought against the cage with Colby winning a mostly boring fight . Colby can atsnd his stand up is vastly underrated but he has little striking power tho.. I csn see a 4-1 decision easily. At least 3 rds he gets top position on most rd.
