Hendo vs Nick Diaz

Nick Diaz vs. Brian Ortega.

If Ortega's fight didn't have people seeing classic Diaz, I don't know what will.
 
Can we just get one good recent top ten win from Diaz?

Seriously...it would help.

He's exciting normally, and he'll be 'entertaining' to certain crowds on the mic...

But can he just win some fights before he cried about getting a title shot? Other than that...just fight dude. He has to stop turning down fights with guys who are similarly ranked with him.

If he just keeps avoiding fights with the likes of Brown and the Condit rematch, we gotta ask...you scared homie??

Too bad there aren't any overweight, old featherweights for Nick to fight for him to look good against. Ridiculous

Let him stay retired, he's irrelevant and can't beat the top ten anyway. If he could, he should stop bitching about fighting them already.

But he knows he can't, he'll just keep smoking pot and talking about how great he coulda been....just like my dad's varsity football friends, they could hang out and compare fairy tales of how they could have mattered on the pro stage...

If it's a 3 rounder then Lombard can win a decision, but if it's a 5 rounder then Nick is going to give him a beating that resembles his days in Strikeforce.

In a 5 rounder, Lombard is guaranteed to gas out eventually. Nick is extremely good at making his opponents tired. Once Lombard gasses, Nick will have a lot more success with stopping his TD's and he will bully Lombard.

Gassing against Nick is literally the worst thing that can happen. Even in a 3 rounder, Lombard would still gas but he'd definitely survive until the end and take the decision. That's not to say Nick can't possibly win a 3 round fight, but I'd pick Lombard to take it, just like I'd pick Nick to take a 5 rounder. Lombard cannot hold that pace, he will gas, he will get smashed, he will lose, badly.

Even in a 3 rounder, Lombard's only way of winning is LnP. He won't be able to do anything on the ground because Nick's defense is too good and he's extremely active from his guard - no, Lombard will not pass his guard. On the feet, Lombard throws 1-2 punches at a time unless his opponent is offering nothing on the feet at all. Lombard is extremely predictable on the feet, his speed and power has brought him a long way, but he doesn't do anything on the feet that will make Nick not be able to get his rhythm and beat him there.

seriously.....hell Hendo didnt wanna stand and bang with Silva while Nick Diaz did it for 5 rounds even making Silva back up, Condit ran and even the current champ at WW got KTFO when he tried yo stand and bang with Nick Diaz.

I would've loved to see this fight 5 years ago though.
 
I'd like to see this too. But Nick is a WW who just fought the MW GOAT. Now he's gonna fight a LHW who is an all time top 5? I guess next in line is JDS since he seems to want to just stand and bang too nowadays. And then Jon Jones in his comeback fight.

That Nick is so hot right now.

Read whole sentences and not just parts of them.

To repeat: I said Diaz complained about fighting big hitters AND wouldn't get the money he wanted for the fight with Hendo, both points are perfectly valid, he complained about the big hitters on camera. Unless the UFC shows up with a huge purse for an over the hill MW and a WW on a 3 fight losing streak, this isn't happening.
