He really has no right to bitch. This dude kept an injury secret from the UFC and everyone for over a month, knowing full well that he likely wouldn't be able to fight. Which then caused the UFC to have their first cancelled show ever. He cost the UFC millions, and tons of fighters money. It was one of the most scummy moves I've seen in MMA, so he should shut it.

Not even a Machida fan. But Dan used TRT for years and had an entire fucking card cancelled because of his bullshit, he has no right to talk.

Well, there's an argument for him there. He's actually fighting Lombard, while Jones didn't fight Sonnen straightaway.

But I agree with you, he definitely shouldn't have kept his injury as a secret and he's to blame as well along with Bones.

He's upset the fight got cancelled. Regardless of being hypocritical or not he's gonna be mad because he lost a paycheck and had to pay for a training camp.

Dont try to pin 151 on Hendo. If Jones just manned up to fight a middleweight coming off a tko loss on 10 days notice it wouldnt have been canceled.

If Hendo hadn't hid his injury he knew was likely to keep him from competing for an entire fucking month they could of found a decent replacement and Jones could of had time to prepare. This is 100% on Hendo.

Oh how dare Hendo try to save the event by staying on the card. How dare he! Dont give me that bullshit that Jones was unprepared for a fucking middleweight coming off a tko loss with zero training camp. Jones had a full training camp and had over a week to watch footage and come up with a gameplan.

^Yeah I'm sure hendo was trying to "save the event" by not reporting his injury.

You mean that middleweight who got done for using HGH?

Lol how is it upto Jones to step up for Hendo's fuck up?

That was Hendo's fault, Jones isn't necessarily a company and I don't blame him. Hendo hid that injury and it was because of HIM that the card was scrapped.

Most actual MMA fans have the memory of a small bird for shit like this. Why else do you think Uncle Dana hasn't been tarred and feathed for his mountain of lies? MMA is big, the UFC is big, fights are always coming up, and nobody is keeping score.

But Sherdog remembers. Sherdog will always remember.

You don't talk about an injury until you cancel the fight.
and TRT was legal, he never got caught abusing it like Vitoria did

The event could have been saved if Henderson had disclosed his injury when he knew about it, and Jon may have felt better about taking a replacement opponent with more time.
It's absolutely ridiculous that people are still trying to pin that shit on Jon. He signed up to take on a certain fighter, and that fighter couldn't make it. I respect guys like Cerrone that will take on whoever, whenever, but I can not understand the criticism for those that fight smart. You lose once in this business and you can get put out to dry by the UFC. I wish Jon had just went on to whoop Sonnen at 151, but I have no problem that he didn't want to take a last minute fight. It's unprofessional of Henderson and of the UFC.
Jon has also said that Sonnen wasn't deserving of a title shot, which is 1000% true. He had just come off of a loss, and wasn't even in that weight class. Title shots given out like that cheapen the belt.

Most people don't seem to understand that Chael was training with Hendo the WHOLE TIME and knew full well that Hendo was injured.

So it was extremely short notice for Jon and not short notice for Chael.

I agree with you. The UFC threw Jon under the bus.

Very true the hatred that people have for Jones causes them to purposely overlook shit, like what Henderson did. It was classless and scummy, yet, somehow, you STILL have people trying to blame this on Jones. People still refer to this dude as classy? Henderson is an outright fucking prick. People call Jones childish, but what are they, when they throw reason and logic out the window, just because they dislike Jones so much? UFC 151 was Henderson's fault, period.

Exactly it was a setup, yet no one seems to want to acknowledge or excoriate them for it. Then, people wonder why their asses are always getting accused of carrying racial bias into their judgement.

Weaksauce distinction. Dude was all up on that TRT and became a finishing machine (no more "Decision Dan") for awhile.

We need more guys on TRT. Seems like fewer injuries and more excitement.

Hendo is on a beach right now, not giving a single fuck about this thread.
