Help Me Understand This (Insane) Recent Encounter With A Female

Just because some friend of her or co-worker called her slut does not mean she wants the same from you.

It's not about telling them what the line is. It's about drawing a rational conclusion about where the line is based on their own words.

You're probably a guy who thinks that if a girl told me a dirty joke and then I told her one in return and she stormed out of the room offended I should chase after her and tell her how sorry I was and that I had no reason to think she wanted to hear a dirty joke.

Sorry your relationship analysis was so out to lunch on this one. But any rational person who read the entire original OP should have immediately seen that what this woman said to me was not warranted and in fact bonkers in the extreme. She clearly has massive fucking issues.

Or just utilized social skills and a modicum of charm and stuck it in her during their initial meeting and avoided this all together. You know like a grown up! How do you have these fucked up interactions with people(that escalate so quickly) as an adult? I'm a jerk and often deal with fast women but even I don't run into these problems. Blows my mind.

Dude, she essentially gave you a mulligan. That's why she said fuck you. I can even understand wanting to cut your losses(you made an ass of yourself) but this is not a W for you in any way, shape, or form.
