I would like to post a poll and don't want to look stupid.
The post button redirects me, and I'm not sure how the whole thing works.

The drop down above your post, create a poll... I'll delete the Test one I made ... see if it works.

Hoping you've got this now @Your Salad. If not, I'll describe how I do it.

1. Start a new post to the forum you like. Just start typing into the area at the top of that forum that says "Thread title."

2. You will see two options. One says "Discussion" and one says "Poll."

3. Write what you want. Then click on the one that says "Poll." Customize the poll to your liking.

Voila you should be done. Refresh the page and you should see your post appear, along with the poll. Mess around with it as a test until you've got it down. If you aren't happy with how it looks you can always scrap it by clicking on another forum or signing out and then signing back in. Also you can delete your own writing by clicking on the little icon within the not-yet-posted post toward the right. When your cursor is on it, it will say "Drafts." From there click on "Delete Draft." Best regards.
