While I dont think Lombard has deserved to fight Hendricks (he fought 7 times in the last 4 years, lost three times and got a NC because of steroids in one of the others), it would be a very interesting fight.

Decent matchup. Wonder boy showed Hendricks can be stopped with strikes and Hector is more than capable of doing it in the first round. Hectors gas tank is horrendous though

Yea right I think Hendricks had to switch up his old diet also, he didn't even look like the same guy in the Thompson fight.

Physical shape wise, that was the best Johny Hendricks we've ever seen.

The bad news is its the first time in his career he left his team including head coach Marc Laimon. He didn't want to keep splitting his purse with Team Takedown so he essentially trained himself and had no proper camp or coach.

Huge mistake coming into a fight with someone so spectacularly good at striking.
