When I first saw Hector in Bellator I thought he would make a nice transition over into the UFC. Now I feel like his transition over has been a bust. Could Hector be the biggest bust or recent let down in the UFC? 3-4 and a NC was not what I expected when he came over.

Hector is a nightmare for anyone early, but fades quickly after the initial steroid burst, like Vitor.

He's 38 guys... He had a nice run at WW beating Marquardt, Shields and Burkman.

He did good against Magny, the fight could've been stopped in the 1st round.

He dropped Hendo 2 times before getting KO'd... So it's not like he took one sided beatings in his last 2 losses. Lombard is still a threat to anyone at MW.

His judo is so underutilized. It was pure ego going tit for tat with Hendo. Even worse he completely ignored his corner yelling at him to not stand right in front of Heno.

For sure. He has the skills to do much better than he does. He fought much smarter against Shields and Burkman.

in his defense he couldve easily beaten Henderson, but unfortunately for him, Hedno apparently has the heart of Rocky Balboa.

Perfect post, pretty much what I was going to say. He is showing up and game for pretty much of all of his fights, and we be sitting on the edge of our seats during them.

He could have easily won his last two fights. He had both Magny and Hendo hurt badly... He's just too dumb to take his time and finish strong and methodically.

Also, his other two losses in the UFC were split decisions. Again, near wins.

He fought like a retard vs Boetch, and I don't remember the Okami fight.

He's 10 IQ points from 6-1. And he gets punched in the face for a living, so it's kinda a catch 22.

His IQ fails him not his body power or anything related to to aging.

Hes a lesser Paulharres.

CroCop's transition to the UFC was a bigger let down. And Gomi.

I believe Hector could finish anyone if he would just do it. That fight could have been stopped in the first last night. Im glad Hendo got to land the Hellbo though.

The problem with Lombard has always been two things ..... his cardio and his arrogance ....

i say arrogant because he seems insistent on fighting his opponents using their strengths , it's so preposterous that Hector would even think to of stand toe to toe against someone like Henderson , honestly .... beyond fucking poor judgement in that regard .... if the man is to be a contender he needs to really tackle his issue with his stamina.
