Head kicks are one of the less common strikes and HWs throw all kinds of kicks less than the lighter divisions. Which makes them a bit special. A heavyweight head kick is the most devastating strike in MMA so you know when the big boys connect with a shin to the cranium it's all over bar the shouting.

Lol, as if it's a frequent thing to see good head kicks in the HW division. Most of them are slow and sloppy brawlers.

Come on. If you cant throw a head kick,you probably shouldnt be fighting. Its not that hard to do. Sure to be quick enough to make them dangerous in a chaotic fight,or set them up,takes skill,but throwing a headkick is not that hard to do even for a big man.

Gonzaga vs Cro Cop was the best HW head kick ever, it was brutal and unexpected.
