Heavyweight Curtis 'Razor' Blaydes talks upcoming UFC debut in Croatia against Francis Ngannou

War Blaydes! Still hate a prospect vs prospect fight tho. Fire Joe Silva

Wow he sounds great, love his confidence, nice interview...

He reminds me of Jimmy from South Park.

Appreciated interview and appreciated "side" of Blaydes (it's all in the details: "control" works both in wrestling and life).
I don't know if he can turn out to be the HW real deal, talking about his potential, but I can wish him so

I was shocked to see Blaydes is a tiny betting underdog on this fight. Whoever wins should be destined for big things.

he loves the prospect vs prospect and prospect vs durable veteran way too early matchups that ruin prospects. Joe Silva is the worst at developing new fighters.

Most books have Blaydes about -150, so actually a slight favorite right now. It's a HW fight so one punch can change that. Having said that I don't see any other way Blaydes loses this fight. He is far and away the better athlete and his wrestling is awesome if he needs to take the path of least resistance.

Should be easy money honestly. If you want to make some cash off Curtis this is your big chance. I have a feeling going forward his betting lines will increase dramatically.

Could not agree more. When I first heard about this fight I could barely believe it. Then I realized it's a Joe Silva special lol. I know people like to bitch about anything around here but he really sucks at his job.

Thank heavens for some new heavyweight fighters. We need a serious infusion of young blood in that division.

Nice bestfightodds had him at +105 the other day. I had to swear off gambling after the bowl games, but I nearly returned because that Blaydes line looked too good to be true.

Wish I could have gotten in at +105, damn good odds. Lol I had to swear off betting on football period. I consider myself a well above average sports bettor and football cleans my clock. I have stuck to MMA and done fairly well mixing in some basketball, both NBA and the NCAA tournament. For example I made some really good coin on Diaz/Johnson and a small bet I placed on Reem/JDS also paid dividends lol. If only I had bet on Nate against Conor, the line for the rematch stinks.

Rooting for Ngannou. But I hope whoever loses this fight can bounce back strong both guys have a few years to give to the division especially Blades. Even Nagnnou with 29 years isnt old for a HW at the moment but I prefer his style and Blades has more time to develope so hopefully Nagnnou wins

This is definitely going to be a very athletic, explosive fight.

Honestly I am sceptical about all of these new prospects. I think most of them are going to be gone in 2 or 3 fights max. But I am open to being impressed and proven wrong.

Ngannou is gonna knock him out cold.

This fight doesn't make sense, they should be feeding them a few lower ends guys and building them up.

I'd be skeptical about Ngannou, but Blaydes isn't going anywhere. At 25, his upside potential is the best at HW by far
