Heavy Bag Suggestions (Easily Removed, Low Ceiling 8')

New member here. Looked like best place to ask questions about heavy bags.

Looking to add a heavy bag to my basement gym. Problems are the basement ceiling height is only 8' and the best spot for the bag is directly in the middle of my gym. I would like the option to easily hang/remove the bag when not using it.

Is this possible to do? What would you suggest?

Is your basement ceiling exposed beams or finished ceiling?

Basement is finish and in that room it's plastered ceiling. Previous homeowner does have a hook drilled into the ceiling in my gym. No clue what was on it, but it's into a beam.

Or you could screw a 2x6 to the ceiling across a few studs to disperse the weight and vibrations caused by the heavy bag.

Don't forget to use a spring is worth a couple bucks to save your ceiling lol
