Heather Hardy's performance.

Well, it is not as if Hardy is a particularly skilled boxer. Her success often relies on her wading through punches until she can land. Her MMA skills are even less well-developed. The talent pool in women's boxing is even shallower than MMA, which is why she can do better there.

i think she looked like a boxer who got into mma fight - helpless. big question is what people who trained her for the last two years were doing?
mayby it's time to switch camps and move to Jackson-Wink? i herd it helps.

she still fights in boxing. I'd bet money she hasn't even bothered working on her grappling after watching that "performance"

The guy who is training her is also her boyfriend

Not sure if he has an MMA background or Boxing
Yeah and he looks 80 years old.

Wish she weighed in with the black 1 piece and 1 hair bang.

on the first take down attempt she looked liked she was starting to know what to do with her hips

You can tell from her manager's(Lou Dibella) tweets that she has no business being in MMA. She needs an exit plan, if the money in women's boxing isn't there, at 37 its time to move on to the next phase in life.

Even her striking looked terrible, she should give it up.

Who's training these people? And are they really monitoring them? MMA, 1) Needs to have take down defense 2) Needs to know the basics of stand up grappling 3) Needs to know what to do once taken down 4) Repeat all of those over and over again 5) Needs to know how to check leg kicks 6) Needs to know how to see head kicks coming and flying knees 7) Repeat all of those over and over again 8) Keep learning MMA defense 9) Then learn some MMA offense after all of the defensive things first.
64 dollar questions. The $money$ shot was that it was a good show.<14>

Porn? I could dig it.

I think she is probably in the sport for all the wrong reasons, and is why she is not progressing.

How many prowrestlers would know what to do on the ground against Rickson in 1997?
.

At least one whom Rickson refused to fight and who tarnished the Gracie name: Sakuraba. Touche!

She might do bettwe if she bought some tits and broke up with the fossil.

They only use her because she shows her ass at weigh ins! Lets be honest she is no boxer or fighter...……….Just Bellaporn

Got destroyed by a striker.
Got destroyed by a grappler
Looked awfull against a girl in the same level who retired shortly after.

Well...

She should just go back to boxing.

Hardy is an emotional fighter & she uses that emotion to fuel her aggression in boxing. Which is how she's gone 22-0 & won a world title in that sport on pure aggression & punch output. And, she's trying to fight the same way in her MMA bouts & it's just not working out for her. I think she probably has more MMA skills than she's shown thus far in her fights but she's allowed her emotions to overwhelm her in them. Unfortunately, at 37, it's not likely that she'll have the time to adjust to her new chosen sport. But, apparently, she makes more money fighting in Bellator prelim fights than she does for defending her world title in boxing. Boxing criminally underpays its female athletes.

If Heather is really 22-0 and has won a world title, then women's boxing is a joke. She's not a good boxer. She's not good at MMA. She really shines at the weigh-ins, though. Hope she has a plan B for her life, unlike most fighters, it seems.

Bro...ever heard of the title "Paper champion?" there are many in boxing...she probably sold tickets and was protected...She has no boxing skill set even for a female boxer.....

She's an average walk-in banger who lacks power but throws a high volume of punches to outwork & outpoint her opponents. Her defense is her offense which means that she makes for entertaining fights because they're usually wars. She's a much better boxer than she is an MMA fighter though.

Actually, in her last fight as a boxer when she won the vacant WBO title she showed a bit more skill than she usually does. Albeit against another limited fighter than she'd already beat in Shelly Vincent.
Is Hardy's 22-0 manufactured to a certain extent? Absolutely. Like all limited fighters that are popular enough to put asses in seats, she's been protected. But, she beats who they put in front of her unlike in MMA. She just doesn't have the athleticism or power to make a smooth transition into MMA. Plus her insistence upon fighting her opponent's fight has helped to make her a .500 fighter in Bellator. And, that's against handpicked opponents.
Had Coker wanted to really build her up into an attraction he'd have found opponents that barely had a pulse for her first several fights. But, it's too late for that now.
