    Hello everyone,
I was just wondering if any of you have ever used hear therapy. Does any know if its a good idea to use? I heard its recommended for temporary relief of stiff muscles, sore muscles, arthritis, bursitis, back ache, tennis elbow, and joints. I saw one for about 200.00 Do you guys this its a good investment?
    Jose

When I played college football, we would use heat before practice to loosen injured muscles/joints and the after practice we would ice the same area. You may know this already, but if the injury is new then do not put heat on it for 48 to 72 hours...you should use ice only for the first couple of days to take down inflamation.

I don't know if this helps.....maybe a heat pad would work just the same

whats $200? a hot/cold pack is like $5, save your money.

mjfgf has it right, ice it right after the injury to reduce swelling, then heat after to relax/loosen muscles
