I like Max as a fighter and think he's one of the most entertaining fighters in the game.
I just think Lamas can get the fight to the ground and win a dec, but at the same time, Max's footwork can prevent the takedown and he can eventually get the TKO/KO.

With Lamas at a +250 underdog, im tempted to place a bet on Lamas.... even though I'm going for Max.

Lamas is not an awesome takedown guy and I believe Holloway has one of the best tdd in the division.
Lamas barely got by Hacran Dias and while he is a good grinder himself just not the top of the division kind of guy.

That's what I'm thinking TS, as good as Max has looked in his previous fights, he hasnt fought anyone that will ruthlessly look for the takedown all day long like lamas is capable of. All of his other opponents have chosen to play Max's game but I feel like lamas is smarter than that.
I chose Lamas by decision on my picks.

Lamas doesn't need to take him down right away per se, he can just grind him down against the cage. It's a really tough fight to call, both guys are very good.
