Is this message real? Perhaps. It makes sense, contextually. It wouldn't surprise me at all to find that Conor, especially at that time, could just shoot Dana a message proposing whatever drunken, coked out fantasy matchups entered his mind. The response from Dana is classic. He's telling Conor "no" while still stroking his massive ego. 4D chess imo. Dealing with "talent" isn't easy, and not everyone's cut out for it.

Never saw the Will Smith vid, but I just googled it and find it to be very unsettling.

I don't believe this really hurts Dana's image, but it certainly shows the power dynamic in his relationship with Conor and how vastly different it is compared with other fighters.
