very glad to hear she's back home safe.
It sounds like it. I am honestly not sure what happened. I read that she called out to the kid during the 911 call but the kid didn't respond. It does make sense though because apparently the child is a toddler.Like maybe the kid was never there?
Wtf? She just shows up like "hey I'm home now......" Zero explanation?Well she’s shown back up. No explanation yet of where she was for two days.

Sigh...
Here's the problem I have:
Other than the obvious - a woman being abducted (I'm assuming killed). A lot of criminals think on a micro scale. Thinking about temporary reward and small scale greed. Now the question is this: is this the kind of world you want to live in... even as a criminal?
Now in the (unlikely but still possible event) that the friend on the line sees an abandoned kid who needs help, what do you think her first thought will be... "I need to stop and check on him" or "I'm gonna keep going and not risk it because of what happened to Carlee"?
These asshole bad guys also have kids, nieces, nephews, etc. who may need help one day, they just discouraged that many more folks from ever helping a stranger. Fostering an environment of mistrust for their offspring and kin.
Especially repulsive that a fuckin' child was used in this.

This. Sadly.I'm assuming someone used the kid as bait and abducted her.

A woman spotted a child wondering on an expressway and pulled over to help him. She called the police and then a friend as she stopped. The friend reports she heard the woman ask the child if they were okay, then her screaming, and then background noises on the expressway. Her car and phone were found at the scene with no trace of her or the child. Truly chilling.
Like Vincent D'Onofrio does with his dog in The Cell.
This movie was hilarious and kind a legit scary. Don't see that combo a lot

Glad she wasn't murdered. Pretty wild she turned up alive barring this wasn't some weird hoax
