Hi guys, just after a few opinions.
After 2 years i've finally bit the bullet and heading to Thailand in November but can only manage 3 weeks. This mite be the only chance i get of going over so i'm looking at gyms, my problem is there are 2 gyms that i really want to go to but i no its not ideal to spend only a week an abit at a each gym, so what would use do? Pick 1 or just try both anyway?

Umm might be a good idea to let us know which 2 gym you're considering. Sticking to one gym would be best unless the first one is total crap.

I don't know nothing about Thailand but I'm a fan of the Sitjaopho bros.

if I was going I would be looking to stay there the entire time.

Both are good enough for you. What is your size and skill level?

difference probably outside of training, Sitsongpeenong closer to going to see fights at Main stadiums, but little to do around there. Sitjaopho in a beach town, plenty to do when not training and close to beach

I'm only a beginner, been training on/off last 3 years with only 1 fight,
I'm 175cm/80kgs

Yeh i'd have to go to the main stadiums but that could be done at the end if i did go to Hua Hin

Going to sitsongpeenong phuket and Sitjaopho 10 november - 9 december , two weeks each. Hope and Think they both will be really Good ! Maybe see you there then

I am also going for 3 weeks in november. I have narrowed to 2 gyms: Sitjaopho and Fa muay thai group. First choice is Sitjaopho. My hesitation is to know is it worth to travel to Hua Hin, or stay closer to my landing and train in bangkok.

Where about you from?
Yeh i've heard Hua Hin is boring when not training but i've also heard there are plenty of things to see, i'm mainly going to train and havn't heard a bad thing about Sitjaopho so i'll take the chance

Im going down to sitsongpeenong first, flying down from Stockholm, sweden. I liked the look of the gym and trainers, also that its Close to the beach. I think bangkok gym might be a bit better but Dont wanna go there on my first real training trip. Maybe in the future.

I have heard from loads of ppl that Sitjaopho is top training and lots to do around there on your time not training. They work alot with a club here in Stockholm aswell and have Good reputation.

Also think the bigger gyms with Good trainers more or less have the same possibility to Develop as a fighter, its just up to you to show intrest and will.

I've heard you need to schedule training at Sitjaopho ahead of time to make sure you have a spot. If they are full they will turn you away so don't plan to just show up there. Get a hold of them beforehand.
