Anyone watch this show Industry on HBO. It is a joint effort between the BBC and HBO and it has extremely tight writing. I strongly suspect that it is based heavily on some people's experiences in the financial industry and how toxic it is. It and House of Dragons have been the two shows I make sure to catch every week.

I have been hearing so many positive things about Season 2 that I added it to my queue. Have not started yet. Looking forward to it

I really liked Season 1 but Season 2 doesn't start here in the UK until tomorrow.

Almost finished S3. S1 was good, S2 was mixed and not great, S3 has some really good moments. I really wish they would focus more on Banking/Trading stuff and less on the personal lives of the characters. Not interested in close ups of protagonist x hyperventilating.

Oh and how to forget: Yasmin is absurd hot.

I think S3 has some really tight writing. Dear Henry I thought was the best episode so far. That or the episode where Henry went out to the pub with the ghost of his dad. Both of those episodes I though were some amazing writing and acting. Whitney is an amazing slimy character. I felt kind of how things ended for Eric and we are never going to know the truth on anything. I really liked seasons 1 and 2 but season 3 feels really different with most of the characters out on their own away from Pierpoint. It sort of feels like finance is more interesting when it involves the scumminess that you don't see inside of a financial institution that has to protect itself.
