Hayabusa Pro Striking Shin Instep Guards

Thanks for the measurements, not much different so I might as well go L/XL.

(PS- Renegade, I'm the guy who commented on your facebook group!)

Ah- yes. I see your order PJV. It mails Priority tomorrow- expect things by wednesday, thurs latest. Once you give them a test run- a review or video review, would be awsome!

Thanks for the support! And I have you covered on the wraps.

The Hayabusa Striking are very nice. Compared to many other brands, it goes to show that you don't have to sacrifice speed and mobility for extra protection. These are very lightweight and, as some have commented, you barely know you're wearing them.

I was offering them with free shipping... For anyone on this thread that orders- just shoot me an email with any order and I'll honor the free shipping. I'll issue a shipping refund.

Thanks very much again! When I get them I'll put up a review for Renegade MMA Gear! I can start sparring again next week, so I will get a review of them after that, but I'll put up an Initial Impressions thread like I did with my Hayabusa Headgear.

Also, I noticed you put up the size comparison on your site, very nice, except you just have the specs backwards! :icon_chee

Paid 74.99 with free shipping from Renegade MMA. With all the protection they provide, I'd say they're definitely worth saving up for. I'm not much of a ground grappler/wrestler though so I don't know how badly they'd shift around on the ground. Their X-Trainers seem pretty cool for that, I might actually consider them for grappling one day.

Yeah, I paid 80 shipped before they were actually released. But they are hella nice. They don't shift all to much on the ground.

bit of a bump of an old thread, but beats making a new one. was thinking of buying some if i cant find them in a store im going to next week in town. shins are about 35cm, meaning that the L/XL would be about an inch and a half below my knee. would that still be ok to use or should i invest in a pair that provide full length covering?

That should be fine. These ones are actually pretty small on me, I didn't know the M was as small as it is. I don't really mind though, I usually don't kick that high on my shin anyways :P. Plus there is only a little toe showing, depending on how low/high I position the guard.
