Reading it's amazing what you can learn. Just messing with you.. I was thinknig the same thing until I saw the name. Sounds crazy to me, If I were a kid or young guy I wouldn't roll with this dude you might end up tapping out do to rear nakid poke.

But just imagine you were that kid's parent. How pissed would you be? I don't think I would handle that very well.
 
i don't understand how the guy still has students...they probably don't even know...man i'd be so pissed if i found out one day that my instructor for the last x months raped little boys...thats some effed up shiet
 
I just wanted to follow up here. Yes I was accussed of molesting one of my students. Unfortunately in America you are presumed by everybody to be guilty until proven innocent. I was cleared of all charges. Perhaps you need to understand that innocent until proven guilty does not exist in America. It is sad. We were able to prove right off that I did not do it. And we found out why this fruitcake kid accussed me. Perhaps you didn't consider that this kid might have reason to falsey accuse someone. In fact this kid raped his little brother and was caught in the act. Facing charges himself he and his family were able to get his charges slightly reduced because they said he was molested. I have proof that I am able to show any interested party. John Pfund
 
i can tell you what hawaiian jujitsu is, yes it is danzan ryu. its more associated with Small Circle Jujitsu out of Hilo. my old sensei was one of the students. I took it as a lil kid, good stuff, it has lil ground game but also fun
 
Danzan Ryu is either hit or miss.

The good Danzan Ryu schools do drills, but also do free sparring randori. Danzan Ryu can be a good mix of Judo throws, and Judo/Jujitsu locks standing and on the ground. I've met Danzan Ryu guys who could hang on the ground with BJJ guys.

The bad schools will do ALOT of kata, and drills and little or no randori. They talk about being too deadly and no nothing on the ground.
