Having D.C. comment on Jon's fight was such a stupid idea

I actually think Cormier was overly-complimentary of Jones, to the point where it killed the "grudge match" aspect of their rivalry a little bit.

Nick Diaz on commentary would not have been putting over any of St-Pierre's skills, and would have been burying him from the onset.

He was great. He made a lackluster fight interesting with his commentary.

That's as close to Jones as DC is willing to get these days

I thought they were gonna have him enter the cage after the fight, and hype their rematch.

For real, there is nothing wrong with Daniel at all. He can provide very valuable wrestling advice. But why would you put him to comment on Jon's fight? The bias was obvious and he tended to change the topic to himself rather than Jones. It was also noticeable that Joe Rogan wanted to be careful with how he talked about Jon to avoid hurting Cormier's feelings. This was a stupid idea.
who the hell cares? it didn't change what was going on in the fight so what does it matter what comments are being made outside the cage?

I thought Cormier should have been even more bias and insulting. Would have just made it more entertaining.

What commentators say doesn't change the way I view a fight.

Nick would only talk trash if GSP held his opponent down for 5 rounds and didn't try to do anything.

I thought he was pretty good. But clearly cheering for OSP. In fact there was the time that Goldie gave it Rogan, and DC agreed.

It was something along the lines of.
Goldie says. Some would say Jones is the best ever.
DC replies. The best ever.

LMAO. Rogan didn't say another word for 20 seconds or so.
