Have you ever lived with other people, tell about your experience..

You mean strangers or friends?

Cool story btw.

I lived with a few friends from work where we were renting a house together. But honestly I prefer living by myself in an apartment since it's my domain and not sharing with anyone else. Even the best of friends if you live together the little annoyances of livng together get to you after awhile. It's a lot better when you can use the kitchen and bathroom in the way you choose.

Sucks, you have to tiptoe and shit most of the time

Yep. Way back when I first left the nest. My roommates weren't psychos, and we all got along, so it was alright. No horror stories. Only thing that sucked, was that one guy worked the graveyard shift, and would always wake me up getting ready for work. My shifts started at 6:00am, and his started at 12:30am, so I'd be sound asleep and always get woken up by this dude stomping around before he left. That was about the worst of it though.

When I did my Military service I lived with 7 other guys I never met before in a small room. And we never had any issue a bit different than living privately together.
But that was one of the best time of my life looking back, it really depends on the people you live with.

Yep in college. Had a four bedroom house with three of my buddies. We took too many mushrooms one night and we were all sorta wandering around the house. One of my buddies was looking for our other friend and went to check his room.

The other guy had all his porn mags spread out in a circle around him while standing there jacking it.

This was back in 2000 or so and nude mags were still a thing.

It's shit. Dudes have big wanks when you're not home and jizz all over the place.

After leaving home I've never lived with anyone I wasn't fucking. Hate sharing a space with anyone who isn't a significant other.

Well I lived with my parents and sister through much of my youth. They were pretty cool. Got a little rocky when I was a teen, but in retrospect, I was the shitty roommate in that equation.

I live with my wife now. I love it.

I lived with my 8 month old son once. It was awful, he kept pooping everywhere, was always vomiting and expecting me to clean it up... dude couldn't even feed himself. I was like "you need to get your shit together".

I live with my best friend, it works fine

Don't love with someone unless you really know them lol. It can end badly

I started a thread a few months ago about moving in with two women strangers. I'm 36 and have lived alone all my adult life so it's been an adjustment. Overall, it hasn't been bad. They're both more messy than me in communal space but we had a discussion about that when I agree to extend my lease and they have been better. I pretty much took over maintenance (grass cutting, taking the garbage out, thoroughly cleaning the kitchen) because I have higher standards than they do and because I actually enjoy it. My roommates aren't home as much as me so I get lots of alone time not that it matters because they're both decent people and I enjoy their company. Also, my one roommate has a dog that I've grown quite fond of. I've always wanted a dog as an adult but resisted because I work long shifts and I didn't feel it would be fair to the dog. Now I get to walk and play with the dog, buy it treats, etc. But not worry about being its primary caregiver.

All of that said, if I could live alone again for close to the same money I'm paying now, I'd absolutely move. Living alone is awesome, it's just pretty expensive here. My cost of living has been reduced by about 55% since moving.

I've lived with loads of different people at many different times in my life ... I live alone now and prefer that. I just like having privacy and my own time.

Lived with my cousin who is also my best friend. We had one hell of a time and shared quite a few girls. When he left, i kept a guy in his place who was in his early forties. He had money but just wanted a temporary place while he was in the process of buying a big house. He was pretty awesome too, always paid rent on time and he was good at picking girls too.

I also lived with my brother, one other cousin and another stranger in a shared house. Brother and cousin were fine, the other roommate was a cheapskate. He wasnt that bad but him being extremely stingy just annoyed me.

I got three roommates from Craigslist when I first moved to Oregon six years ago. All three are still good friends today. Am too old for roommates now.
