Have you ever been knocked out cold?

Nope. I always strike first by filling the room with uppercuts.

Couple of times. I was once KO'd in a wrestling match. My coach grabbed me, shook me and threw me back on the mat. Apparently it's one of his proudest moments.

how does it feel?
Only once, guy got in a cheapshot to the nose when he snuck up on me. See stars then black, and your legs just give out. You want me to try it on you TS, it's not hard to do, just punch hard enough in the temple, chin or right on the nose. Give me your address, you wont even know when its coming.

Couple times in football, never in a fight though. Feels pretty weird, especially when you snap back into reality lol. Where the fuck am I?

ive never been knocked out. i never knocked anyone out either. more like a 'tko' they were still conscious but the fight was done and they werent getting up. fights are stupid now. id do anything to avoid it with how many assholes carry knives or have friends jump in or get carried away when the other dude cant defend himself anymore.

Yes. I don't really remember feeling anything when it happened, but I remember a headache right after. I also didn't feel right all night. I did not go to bed as this girl who was a nurse told me not to in case I had a concussion. I did see the KO on video. It was hilarious.

ya i sparred with someone once. had a mouthpiece but like an idiot i had no headgear. he caught me on the temple. i didnt go out but for several days i had the worst head ache especially when getting up after lying down. im pretty sure i had a concussion. i imagine getting KOd is probably worse but you kind of feint when it first happens so you probably dont feel/remember it right away.

I was out on my feet with a punch I didn't see coming in boxing. Luckily it was sparring and the guy backed off after he saw what happened. It was very odd, didn't hurt at all, just BAM! and then everything went black except for my opponent, who looked like he was floating in space. He sounded very far away and in slow motion floating around and saying "are....you....ok?" I couldn't feel the ground beneath my feet, and was trying to get my balance. Then a bunch of brightly colored streaks started shooting by like stars, red, green, yellow, etc.. Then as soon as it started it was over and I was back and had a headache. It was an interesting place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. I'm glad the guy didn't finish me, because I was a sitting duck for a follow-up punch.

Never been KO'd, people just hurt their hands on my rock head

sounds crazy its a good thing it was just friendly sparring .in a street fight the worst thing about a ko isnt even the ko or the pain but the sheer terror of how vulnerable you are to the people around you. those worldstarhiphop streetfights that show guys going crazy and kicking KOd people is scary as fuck

Yes, I've often thought of that moment, and how shitty it would have been to see in slow motion a huge strike coming, and not being able to stop it and just watching it come towards my face and then lights out. I wonder if Bisping saw the H-Bomb coming when he was on the ground? : )

ya, dove on a onside kick to recover it, and everyone piled on me and I went out for a bit. apparently I started walking to the wrong sideline right afterwards, but I don't remember

also didn't go to the hospital, b/c I woulda been like a month missed for a concussion, and I was the starting QB....

which one because in typical american fashion dan dropped 2 bombs lol

Yep. one time when I was 6-7 years old. but it wasn't from a punch or anything. I fell on my back from a wall and the back of my head hit the floor pretty hard. I remember "waking" up probably a few seconds later remembering that I fell but not the impact itself. My head hurt after that, and that's about it.

I got laid out outside a bar several years ago. Was fighting a guy and next thing I knew I was looking up on the ground. The guys friend swung on me from the side. Didn't even see it or feel it.

I felt confused. Not hurt at all. The next day my jaw was pretty sore.

a few times. First was when I was a kid playing baseball, took a pitch to the side of the head while batting. It didn't knock me out initially, it knocked me down. I stood back up and started running to first base and the next thing I know I'm getting picked up off the ground with the usual "are you alright?" I just remember being in a daze on first base and the coach giving me the signal to steal second, I just stood there, in a daze. Then I saw the pissed off look on his face, he gave me the signal again. I don't even remember stealing second, just stood there thinking "how the hell did I get here?" All I remember was being in a daze and having a hell of a headache.

Another time in a rugby game I was diving for the ball and caught a knee right behind my left ear. Woke up to someone pouring cold water on my crotch and laughing, I sat up and started to hyperventilate. Again, was in a daze and had a hell of a headache, as well as a wet crotch. Someone had video taped the game, got to see it at the after game party. Guy came in full bore and the knee strike was an accident but it hit hard enough I did a 360 degree turn before landing on the ground.

The other times were pretty boring. To answer your question TS you don't really feel anything when it happens, and you will have a headache after. At least that's been my experience.

My redbone hound jumped up to kiss me as I was setting down his bucket of food and the top of his skull smashed me right on the point of the jaw. Not sure what happened over the next few minutes, but my next memory is laying next to an empty food bucket.

Yeah, I'd say I've been knocked out.

Once when I was doing Judo. Was doing randori against someone much bigger, stronger, and more skilled than I. The match was near the edge of the mat and i got thrown against a concrete wall. Woke up and the coach and a bunch of other people in the class were around me.

I was 8.
