Have people forgotten Rashad Rampage Staredown??

I see several people reporters and sherbros alike claiming that staredown was WWE esque and that the UFC is changing for the worse. The UFC has always been like this, Rampage Rashad staredown in the cage being a perfect example, Rashad was my favourite fighter then and look how that non title fight did on PPV. Staredowns like this also happen in boxing all the time. So the question is why do people think this is 'cringe' and 'WWE' but that wasn't?

MMA has literally ALWAYS been promoted the way wrestling has. ALWAYS.

Of course it was WWE esque. Brock is only coming back to get paid. He wants to generate hype so people want to watch. He makes more in one night fighting than he makes in a year in the WWE. It's been done plenty in the past, and it'll happen plenty more in the future. It's not new, but people aren't wrong for saying it either.

Rampage Rashad felt real and had it not been for Frank Mir pulling out of UFC 98 we would have see that as the main even of UFC 100 and would have lost out on their TUF season.

That stair down was pretty fucking amazing.

I also liked the Rashad Jones ones.
