Have any black UFC fighters commented on Joe Rogan’s racist comments?

He should've taken the bait and said it. Lmao.

It was funny that he complained about not being allowed to say it, then given a pass to say it then said I don't want to .

So why you talking about it? News guy got shooked lol.

This was Joe Rogan's biggest mistake. Apologizing to these clowns. nothing he said was wrong, it was perfectly in context.

but apologizing to these morons will only fuel their self-righteous fire.

The way I see it. There is nothing sacred about the “N-word”, but uttering it in public is kind of rude and unpleasant.

Similarly, the Ch-word to describe Asian people, the H-word and C-word to describe white people. It’s just unpleasant and inappropriate to say these words in a public setting.

With that said, merely uttering the word out of context is absolutely not racist, that’s absurd. You are literally just saying the word.

But, if Joe were to point at a black person and use the word in that context, then that’s absolutely not right. As far as I know, he has never done that.

lol at him backtracking on the black people are apes joke

"i know it sounds like i was trying to be racist when i said africa is planet of the apes and the black neighbourhood i went to is planet of the apes because there was no white people there but it was just a prank bro"

If someone made a joke that white people were apes, my reaction would be:

<mma4>

In other words, I wouldn’t give a shit.

I’m of Irish heritage and if people say bad things about Ireland or Irish people, my reaction, is “Oh cool, If you don’t like Irish people, then don’t go to Ireland”.

I don’t need to force people to like me or my country.

You should have seen the comment section when this video came out. It was as if you were on stormfront. I don't know about you, but I don't to fuck with people with this type of ideology.

do you really think joe rogan has that ideology? I didn't even see Joe response in that clip besides asking the guy "do you really think that is true?"

Anyone remember this clip?

Fun fact: She was in fact a PhD and completely correct but Joe didn't let her get a word in edgewise.

Timestamped.

Please share what he said that is wrong. Here is the best review I've seen of how it started and what the real facts are.

I watched the video and looked over the study briefly. I don't see that he's wrong, but this isn't a simple matter of right and wrong either. The doctor there said for some shots, with some men , in some age categories. So we need to be specific when we're talking about this.

The problem with Rogan and his show isn't so much about right or wrong, it's that they're not having the conversation in a responsible way, and with responsible actors.
Rogan says, "I saw this one study..." and then another guy says "well i saw this study", and then try to research it on the fly as if either of you are doctors, or are in the field and have a firm grasp on the information that you're putting out to other people isn't good.
I'm not saying that he can't or shouldn't talk about this stuff, but that he, and his guests should be knowledgeable and prepared if they're going to have these kinds of conversations.
A lot of this stuff isn't a simple matter of correct or incorrect.

He's manlet tho.

Why should his words offend me?

He's a manlet.

The news guy didn't want to say it, he's simply bringing up the point that it's ok for one race to say words but not others. He was also just god awful at making his point because he's a Poindexter and got squashed.

The "experts" and "doctors" studying this are wrong or the "science changes" all the time as well. Now somehow in democrat states people no longer have to wear masks except for kids at almost no risk inside of schools. The truth is that the science behind wearing a cloth mask all the time was never really all that good or convincing and we never saw any good real world data of declining transmission rates once mask mandates were enacted yet we were told that it was a conspiracy theory or covid denier or that you would kill people for questioning it for over two years. Magically as the spring starts to return and cold/flu/covid season goes away all of the polices that were the most strict will remove the mandate and most normal and ordinary people will not wear the mask if they are no longer "forced" to because most people have already had the virus and already have antibodies, realized the virus was not that harmful to them, or have gotten vaccinated if they were truly worried about it and people are ready to move on after two years.

The numbers here aren't 100% wrong, or 0% wrong. Have the experts and doctors been totally wrong?
Obviously, in a case of a global pandemic with a virus that isn't well understood at the time, they're going to be more cautious.
There's obviously a lot of things to balance and consider, and these institutions can't just roll the dice on stuff like this.
I'd much rather people focus their energy on holding these institutions accountable so that they'll be better instead of making this whole thing political and turning it into a 'my doctor is better than your doctor' bullshit.
Because then everyone has their own 'truth", so no one has truth.

If we play that game, people should not be censored for "misinformation" since so many things are "misinformation" now.

We were told at first that the virus was not that big of a deal, closing the border is racist, the WHO was not sure of how the virus spread, than we were told an infection fatality rate that was nowhere close to accurate, than told we didn't need masks, than told we did, than when the vaccine came out that the vaccinated no longer needed them because the vaccine was almost 100% effective against infection, that everyone even the really healthy and at low risk and children need to get the vaccine to stop the spread and end the pandemic, than later 96% effective, than later breakthrough cases were rare, than later we need to all wear masks again, than later the vaccine wanes, than later that you need to get a booster, than later that the vaccine does not prevent spread, that the vaccine is almost 100% effective against hospitalization and death and severe cases, and later that 2 vaccines is only 57% effective against hospitalization's so get the booster to be 90% protected, and than later wait the hospitalization and death count is wrong because it's counting incidental cases where people test positive but did not die or go to the hospital due to covid related issues or symptoms.

Do you see how much became "misinformation" or the science changed? We should not have silenced anyone in that case because over the course of the "pandemic" people were getting censored or shutdown or punished who later turned out to be right even though at the time they were "wrong".

It isn't a game. And welcome to science and novel viruses where it's impossible for you to have all of the correct answers on demand.

There is a big difference between the CDC , the WHO, and then 10, 000 other random doctors with all of their own random opinions. Institutions are necessary for large scale events.
Just because the institutions have fucked up, that doesn't mean they're totally useless. Would we have been better off with, or without them?

I'm fine with going hard on the CDC, Fauci, etc. But the answer to holding them accountable isn't going to quack doctors, grifters, and comedians for the "truth"

We would have been better off being honest about the virus when we had early data, that it was largely only impacting elderly people with multiple pre existing conditions. Trying our best to hide them from the virus ( which still would not work since everyone will catch it eventually now it seems, and that was after all of our precautions ).

Telling people that they should start to live healthy lifestyles, get sunlight, get good sleep, get off dangerous drugs ( alcohol, tobacco, hard drugs ), get close to a healthy BMI and bodyfat %, exercise every day doing some form of strength training and cardio.

If people have zero discipline and refuse to get themselves in shape or make the effort to better themselves they never deserved for the rest of society to be responsible and try and protect them from this virus anyway. The only people I really feel bad for or would think need extra protection would be those who had a genetic condition or were elderly who were at high risk, but people who decided to destroy their body by being morbidly obese for decades, smoking/drinking destroying internal organs made their choices and were responsible for their own health not the rest of society.

Also with the new information about Vitamin D3 coming out, forcing people to stay inside rather than get sunlight and fresh air was also a bad idea.

Also forcing kids to stay inside and do virtual school when we have a major obesity epidemic and allowing children to go from about 35% to 42% obese in one year will cause more damage than covid ever will in decades to come. Most kids in childhood obesity struggle with weight related issues for the rest of their life. Now America will be essentially doomed to be majority obese in less than a decade.

I have been against every single Covid policy since after the first initial "Two weeks to stop the spread".

I'm not going to lie in March 2020 I believed the hype, I saw the videos in China and thought if the government was going to stop everything it has to be serious.

Within 3 months I saw the actual numbers and data coming out and saw how the media and politicians who supported lockdowns all of a sudden support mass protests and riots that were against the social distancing orders and I saw how it did not cause a mass super spreader event, next thing I saw a bunch of people I know who got covid and did not realize it and were asymptomatic and how common the data showed it was.

I realized at that point this was totally blown out of proportion and that this whole "pandemic" shows that America's real issue is obesity, sedentary lifestyles, unhealthy behavior, drug use etc. In the future unless we fix that, we are going to have much worse issues than COVID.

Last time I checked the CDC said about 45% of Americans are obese. Childhood obesity went from 35% to 42% in one year with the COVID lockdowns. Most kids who are obese struggle with weight for the rest of their life. The economy is worse than before, businesses shut down, drug use and overdoses up, mental health issues up, so more people will be eating at shitty fast food resturants and not exercising. I would not be surprised if America hits 50% obesity by about 2030.

Want to see a real health issue? What happens when the majority of the population is no longer just "overweight" but actually obese? What happens to our military recruitment and readiness? What happens to our health care system? What happens the next "pandemic" what happens when politicians have to pander to fat political movements? It sounds silly but it will happen.
