Has Oliveira fixed his eyesight?

I remember when I was in elementary school there was this huge blind kid in my class. He dominated wrestling. Just ragdolled everyone.

Sucked ass on the basketball court though.

Its 2022 and ts has no idea what contacts are

I'll quote from the link I posted:

"..According to a source, Oliveira explained in the video that he could now see perfectly: “Now I’m able to see everything when fighting”. According to the video he had gotten it fixed ‘months earlier’."

That's why I'm asking whether he did in fact get his vision corrected.

Breaking: Improved vision will help you to see better, seeing better will help you in activities that require you to see.

I'm sure many people have heard Charles has had terrible eyesight for a long time. According to Charles his vision was only 50% and he would see 3 guys when he fought.

Apparently he got corrective surgery back in January which is right after the Porier fight: https://calfkicker.com/charles-oliveira-rumored-to-have-had-his-vision-restored/ . This means he must have fought Justin with 20/20 vision.

Seems there's truth to it because in all of Oliveira's recent IG photos, he's walking around without glasses.

Do you guys see this as being a big difference maker for his fights? Personally, I think it will boost his striking but not grappling as it relies more on feeling your opponent's pressure and instincts. Being able to see your opponent clearly undoubtedly helps you to land and avoid strikes better.
It makes me a bigger fan and more excited for him to KO Islam early.

I’m not sure it matters as much as people think in close range combat. If Olivera was going on an elk hunt it might be a problem, but for fighting someone 5 feet away in a small cage? Nah, unless his vision is total shit, it really doesn’t matter that much.
Lol, can't be serious... The man uses almost a glass bottom and you say that doesn't matter much. Come on.

If he’s gonna get eye surgery it’s gotta be PRK because LASIK cuts a flap on the cornea of the eye and then puts the flap back in place. The problem is that flap can get dislodged especially in a sport like MMA.

As someone whose vision is total shit, and can't see 5 ft away without contacts, even if he could see 5 ft, any improvement is stupidly important. So, I'm assuming the guy who you quoted doesn't have nearly as bad of eyesight as me (or even Charles) to make such a ridiculously incorrect statement.

It would heal, and that would only happen if he went flying, sparing or fighting far too early than he should have, and didn't proper allow his eyes to heal. From what I've read if done correctly his eyes would be better than ever before, there's a reason people who got CES, don't have to keep their eye stitches in(lasik usually doesn't even require them, because lasers cut is so thin, the healing will help it before it has a chance to dislodge unless he does what I mentioned above in like the first 1-5 days)

Excuses already lined up I see. Don’t worry, Islam will knock it straight.
Literally a post saying something got better for him. I get it, you'll be gone soon. But try to not be outwardly low iq.
