Has Oliveira fixed his eyesight?

I'm sure many people have heard Charles has had terrible eyesight for a long time. According to Charles his vision was only 50% and he would see 3 guys when he fought.

Apparently he got corrective surgery back in January which is right after the Porier fight: https://calfkicker.com/charles-oliveira-rumored-to-have-had-his-vision-restored/ . This means he must have fought Justin with 20/20 vision.

Seems there's truth to it because in all of Oliveira's recent IG photos, he's walking around without glasses.

Do you guys see this as being a big difference maker for his fights? Personally, I think it will boost his striking but not grappling as it relies more on feeling your opponent's pressure and instincts. Being able to see your opponent clearly undoubtedly helps you to land and avoid strikes better.
 
Did he really? I thought his vision was still shit.

Edit#2 I just checked his ig and found a post of him wearing his usual thick glasses on October 8th..

I’m not sure it matters as much as people think in close range combat. If Olivera was going on an elk hunt it might be a problem, but for fighting someone 5 feet away in a small cage? Nah, unless his vision is total shit, it really doesn’t matter that much.
 
Won't make a difference, Charles had already mastered the ability to hit the one in the middle(Thanks to Paulie).
 
Dont think hes done eye surgery. Charles has contacts he wears sometimes but yeah theres thicc magnification on his glasses. Dude must be pretty blind, no idea how he fights without glasses on

That looks like a promotional post. Look at his recent pics in Abu Dhabi he's not wearing glasses.

Um, I'm actually rooting for Islam in this fight even though I also like Oliveira. You're reading too much into my post.

He's near sighted, so luckily he sees things 3 feet infront of him lol
 
Yes, I saw his recent interview in which he said he had laser eye surgery and his eyesight is 100% now. That is what he said.
