Just saw that Miller is a pretty big underdog against Hooker. Is Hooker that good or do they think Miller has declined that largely? I think Miller has a good chance of winning. Hooker hasn't fought someone like Miller before.

Hooker is a gatekeeper to fighting the ranked fighters. You beat him, you get a shot to crack the rankings. That's about his ceiling. Should be a fun scrap with ole Jim Miller.

I'd rank him around the top of the Mid-Tier at LW.

Erm yeah?
Plus Hooker is a murderer these days

Last I heard, Hooker was putting it on the Slap Chop guy. Fucked his nose up pretty bad.

I like Miller, but he's well past his prime. His ceiling was that he was very good but never great. One of my favorite LWs for a long time.

It started at -270 which is fairly reasonable and money came in and pushed it further

Miller has lost 3 in a row and Hooker is coming off two pretty impressive finishes

From an odds making perspective it makes sense although I think they're probably closer in ability than those odds make it appear

Jim has been around a long ass time. It is a testament to him that he is still able to compete at arguably one of the toughest divisions in the sport's history.

Even Trump is the underdog against a hooker.

well miller is on a 3 fight losing streak.

while hooker is young, just subbed diakiese and knocked out pearson before that.

I always thought Miller never looked like the same after the Healy Loss (NC technically).

Don't get me wrong, he got some good wins in there, but he looked more hittable, less dominant. Fragile Gomi notwithstanding, he's been in trouble at some point in almost every fight since he lost to Cerrone.

Great point, always thought that also.

He's not an elite guy anymore but he's still not an easy fight, Poirier struggled against him just last year.

Dudes got Lyme.

Lyme sucks so bad physically, like you wake up with a horrible hang over everyday.I had it for a long time took me over a year of dedication with anti-biotics,staying away from sugars/carbs etc. and tons of vitamins like chlorella etc. With good medical help (rare with lyme they just say here takes these anti-biotics) it should be gone by now.

Hooker has looked great lately and very dangerous when you don't expect it,kinda like how James Vick is coming into his own.Meanwhile Miller idt has lost too many steps (certainly a few) but the games just passed by his style not to mention he was always a smaller LW and now he's quite a small LW for the standards today within the top guys at LW.

Holy shit I didn't realize he was -350 though!

Always was a big Jim Miller fan but he's got a lot of miles on him at this point. Hoping he can pull off the upset though.

Hooker has never gotten an easy fight. Gets matched with killers each time out.

Beating Diakese was huge and definitely nice to see. He was keeping him out of range and when Diakese got desperate he cinched a beautiful guillotine.

Hooker is dangerous and improving, its possible we haven't seen his ceiling yet. My prediction is that Jim Miller is going to get picked apart from a distance and finished

Miller did not age gracefully.

Dude was one of the best in his day though. Respect

Miller looked good against Poirier not long ago. He might be done now but it’s strange how everyone seems to forget that.
