I can see Ilia getting KO'd in the near future. He pressures guys with such aggression and he's willing to take one to land his own. He's eventually going to get caught like that. Someone with a great kicking game is going to beat the breaks off him. I think Arman is a great matchup. Paddy might be a surprisingly good matchup too. He's more likely to get hit but he seems to have a healthy chin.

Claims the stat with authority. It’s unheralded. Who even comes close to this stat which is really emphasized by Ilia’s measly 17 career fights in the UFC.

A lot of people say Gaethje hits hard and I don’t doubt he does. But he’s barely knocking people down let alone slept. But with Ilia it’s easy to see how technicals make a big difference. There is no fat on Topurias punches.

Maybe they should include the stat KU for’ knocked unconscious.’ I’d use it immediately. In fact I already do. By the way… Topurias last three opponents, all heavy names, knocked silly. It’s because he’s able to ‘combinate’ (autocorrect tried to protest but I wasn’t having any of it) his punches

Max chin finally cracked. Volk only loss @ FW and as we saw against a hooge puncher in Lopes the fight after Volk's chin is still good. He took some BOMBS from Diego couldn't from Ilia though.

Their style of pressure fighting resembles Merab & Chimaev.
But everyone on sherdog believes they don't deserve a title shot.

It really is fascinated who naturally gifted he is.

The dude has insanely clean technical punching and it matches up brilliantly with his body type and athletic ability. Guys like JG "hit hard" sure but he's throwing himself to the ground winging punches as hard as he can.

Topuria is a notable upgrade in modern MMA. He's better than his predecessors.
