I was reviewing the tape recently and I was astounded by the fact that Topuria has knocked unconscious 7 UFC opponents which is a crazy stat to own. The abbreviation acronym is a term used loosely but Topuria
Claims the stat with authority. It’s unheralded. Who even comes close to this stat which is really emphasized by Ilia’s measly 17 career fights in the UFC.
A lot of people say Gaethje hits hard and I don’t doubt he does. But he’s barely knocking people down let alone slept. But with Ilia it’s easy to see how technicals make a big difference. There is no fat on Topurias punches.
Maybe they should include the stat KU for’ knocked unconscious.’ I’d use it immediately. In fact I already do. By the way… Topurias last three opponents, all heavy names, knocked silly. It’s because he’s able to ‘combinate’ (autocorrect tried to protest but I wasn’t having any of it) his punches
You will see
I feel sorry for you fools who fail to combinate. You’re missing out

Unfortunately it seems that Ilia knows this and doesn't want to fight ArmanI can see Ilia getting KO'd in the near future. He pressures guys with such aggression and he's willing to take one to land his own. He's eventually going to get caught like that. Someone with a great kicking game is going to beat the breaks off him. I think Arman is a great matchup. Paddy might be a surprisingly good matchup too. He's more likely to get hit but he seems to have a healthy chin.
Both jokes doofus, you sound funCombinate is not a word…
KU? So you don’t know the difference between a KO and a TKO. Got it.

So I’m guessing all your other misinformation were jokes as well? Both jokes doofus, you sound fun
The point of the thread is that he’s knocking people unconscious over other incapacitations
Combinate is a Topuria word
Gamrot & Rebecki actually have the best chances ofI can see Ilia getting KO'd in the near future. He pressures guys with such aggression and he's willing to take one to land his own. illia is one of those guys that learned on the job
he started as a grappler who only striked when needed, noticed his own boxing potential and went all win with it
its possible we havent even seen his best yet
17 fights in total, just 9 in UFC.
Yup I agree with you on Gamrot, forgot to mention him. Another great match up.Gamrot & Rebecki actually have the best chances ofsmokingbeating Topper.
Their style of pressure fighting resembles Merab & Chimaev.
But everyone on sherdog believes they don't deserve a title shot.
Gamrot vs Topper will look like O'Malley vs Merab
You can bank on it!
He was incapacitated. KO of the other varietyYeah. It comes up in almost every Ilia thread. Also, his Max finish was a TKO, incorrectly labeled as a KO.
