Has Dana ever promised something a 100% and broken it?

Probably because he's greedy and saw the potential cash cow that was Ronda Rousey.

But from a fan's perspective, UFC would be a much better product if it wasn't watered down with 2-4 shitty WMMA fights every event.

Last time I checked Dana White wasnt a feminist....

Did you read my reply?

I said he did it because he's greedy, I never accused him of being a feminist.

Yeah I agreed with you. I dont know the man behind closed doors but it would surprise me if he aligns himself with the dingbats.

Heavyweight title unification bout between Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall is "100 percent" happening in 2025....

He promised he wouldn't do Women's MMA, now we're stuck with one of every fkn PPV.

Jones vs. Machida 2 and then saying Machida didn't want the rematch after he turned down short notice fight. Think that was Sonnen ending up getting the Hendo missed fight after a season of TUF. Could be off, but I believe this I was it.

It’s funny to me how he kept his promise on Paul Daley never fighting in the UFC again after the post fight punch on Josh Koscheck decades ago

I don't have data because I haven't bothered to track this metric. And the reason I don't track it is simple. HE IS A PROMOTER.

The promoters job is to say whatever is needed to increase the promotions bottom line. Besides, even if that wasn't the case things change and there is only so much he can control. So of course he's said things and then it didn't happen.

Source?

I thought after they brought Pride, they contractually owed some people fights (like Mark Hunt). I thought the story was that they tried to pay Mark Hunt to not fight, and Mark Hunt demanded to fight out his contract.
correct. They bought the libraries and, irrc, they did not realize that most of the contracts did not come with the deal.
