I didn't know where else to post this, and I couldn't find anything on the internet about it. Probably because no one in history has ever been so dumb.

My dumb ass drunk friend who has no business owning a firearm somehow managed the Herculean feat of getting a magazine to feed backwards. I tried disassembling it, but the slide is stuck, it won't come apart. They only think I could think of is pushing it out from the barrel into the chamber, but that seems like an extremely fucking bad idea.

Anyone else ever experience and resolve this problem?

No, and that's fucked up.

What kind of gun? My brain can't figure out how a Glock or 1911 mag or a Beretta 92 mag could go in backwards.

It's a SCCY CPX-2. Little rinky dink 9. hasn't even fired it yet.

Edit: it's not the magazine that went in backwards, what I think happened is he had the round in the mag backwards. That's what I'm assuming anyway.

Good grief.

I HAVE seen someone try to load a G23 mag (it shoots .40 S&W) with a .45 ACP, succeed, and only noticed when the gun wouldn't feed properly.

For those that don't know the difference between a .40 and a .45, here's the difference:

Yeh I had a G22, how the fuck did they manage to chamber a .45ACP? That almost makes less sense to me.

It didn't chamber but they somehow got the damn thing into a mag... Was weird.

Oh ok. I told him he's going to have to go to a fucking gunsmith. Idk how the fuck to fix it. He just bought it today. Dumb ass.

Take it to a gunsmith.

I assume the action didn't close? If the slide is back, I would try to grab and pull the bullet. If it comes out of the casing it will be safer to work with. I would use a piece of tubing or a wooden dowel with a hole drilled in it so it can't hit the primer. Slide it in the barrel and tap it with a soft face hammer keeping your body parts out of line with the barrel.
