Has anyone ever owned the rights to an app?

    Was browsing around on some site where you can buy/own the legal rights to an app. Some people were selling ridiculous ones for like $100k, but other people had cheaper ones that were more realistic. My big concern is the technical side. I don't know anything about programming stuff, but there's all sorts of sites where you can hire someone hourly to work on your stuff.

    I was thinking about buying some cheap piece of shit app just to figure things out on, then maybe find something better in the future. Could be a terrible idea, but that's why I'm researching it first.

    Surprisingly, there isn't too much floating around about this on Reddit.
