(LONG POST, ADVICE APPRECIATED, THANK YOU)

What's up guys.

So I'm working on a collection of autographed MMA memorabilia. I've been scammed before so I've become quite savvy at detecting fakes. I see a lot of stuff on ebay and other sites that offer signature pictures, posters, etc., however a lot of them aren't certified by PSA/DNA or JSA (James Spence Authentication) but appear to be quite legit.

At any rate, I came across this website: https://mmasignatures.co/ that is loaded with tons of rare autographed merchandise. However, this person often uses their own authentication service through their company and claim:

"Our head authenticator, at our authentication company is a top guy at JSA as well. That is for items others obtain and he will authenticator or reject the items."

Here is an example of an item he has for sale with one of their certificates of Authenticity:

Here is a brief conversation I had with them via email:
convo with mma signatures.png

Not only do the signatures on his merchandise pass the eye test (I've compared his autographed hendo merchandise with an official UFC event poster autographed by hendo I have and they appear to match), this dude has a Facebook page with lots of 5 star reviews and a legit twitter account with pictures of him at expo's with fighters.

Anyways, my questions to any of you willing to read this and give advice are:

Would you buy from this guy/website?

And do you trust the legitimacy of his certificates of authenticity?

Thank you very much.

That's Hiller from PA. He's legit. Good guy. Family man. I've bought some boxing stuff from him.

Dude thank you so much for responding. I was pretty skeptical at first so I had a couple of people in my family take a look at some of his work and they said it looks legit as well. You saying this makes me trust it more. Might wait for another opinion but I'm basically sold on his legitimacy. Thanks again.

Thanks for this thread. Looking at their black friday sale right now.

someone out there not only wants to pay good money for Al Iaquinta's autograph but demands "authentication" for it too?

So some research, but don’t go crazy.

MMA fighters are EXTREMELY accessible, and obtaining an autograph from them isn’t very difficult.

I have JDS and Jon Jones signatures.

I met them at a convention.

I wouldn't trust anything without a PSA or possibly JSA certificate. There's all kinds of shady stuff out there. Even most of the legit guys flood markets with a few less than likely "real" autos. Especially if it's an "in-house" guy just tagging autos with made up numbers then tagging the auto with a corresponding halogram with the numbers on the back. If you actually did a private autograph session with Fedor with lets say 1,000 autos what's stopping you from coming away with 100-500 more if you're connected and know what you're doing. Tons of shady companies out there, GFA being one of them. There's tons of fake autos out there especially with guys like Mantle, Ali, Koufax etc. Being in South Florida the fake market is huge. On the other hand why would someone want to fake an Al Iaquinta or alikes auto.
