I really like Conor. I like the way he fights, his cocky attitude, the smack talk.

I love how Hes willing to move up in weight and fight anyone. The guys a badass...

But the bias the UFC has showed towards him.. Specifically after his loss, has really made me root against him.

Combined with the fact that Im a looongtime Diaz fan, that probably doesn't help. But I just don't care anymore.. Id cheer for Jose against him in a rematch. Im over it, Im tired of arguing with newbie fans on sherdog about Conor.. And mostly Im tired of his fans bad mouthing Nate fuckin Diaz, who has done 20x more to earn respect than Conor.

Its crazy how Sherdog can make you dislike fighters you shouldn't. This reminds me of Shogun/Machida

I still root against Machida in every fight.

Thanks Sherdog, this is why we can't have nice things (tings)

You realize most of his fans on here are just trolling right?

Yea my opinion changed.

I went from thinking hes a dipshit to thinking hes a douchebag.

Im not sure how true the "Mcgregor is willing to move up and fight anyone" statement is.

I appreciate his fighting style and think he's a very skilled martial artist.

I dislike his scripted trash talk and the swarm of low-quality fans he brings to the game.

Eh. He got kinda annoying with all the money talk... he was more fun when he was more...honest? I guess...

But he's still exciting/interesting. Obviously people care about him (even/especially haters). People seemed to have jumped on the 'he was all hype' wagon, which seems a little insulting to Aldo/Holloway/Mendes.

We'll all watch his fights.

I was never big on the shit talk, but I realize that it can make you a shit-ton of money, so whatever. But after losing, and then skipping out on media days because he needs to focus on fighting and not media, it's like, you made the bed, now sleep in it. UFC 200 Main event was changed, because Conor fucking McGregor, the biggest shit talker in UFC history, who has been amply rewarded for his shit talk, didn't want to take a couple of days out of training, to shit talk. He made his brand, now he needs to live up to it.

He is still on the list of the 4 most insufferable, unrepentant assholes in sports.

Not at all Conor is awesome. Win or lose he brings in the drama and the attention.

It's weird that he's not willing to move down in weight, though. And defend the belt in the weight class he's currently the title holder in.

I got u man that's why I made this thread. Its annoying

Im officially anti Conor. I really do hope he loses multiple fights in a row

Never liked him to begin with.

His antics have turned MMA in the UFC into a WWE wankfest.

Yes.

I was a fan, but not a super fan. I favored him against Aldo, and to this day I think he had a decent shot at RDA. Once he was fighting Nate, one of my long time favorites, that was it for my Conor fandom. All the shit he and his fans talked on Nate bugged me. Fortunately, I knew Nate was going to beat him. Additionally, his holding up the title and general money-centric over the top attitude annoy me after awhile.

That said, I'm still excited to see his fights, I'm glad he's in the mix, and I'll still root for him in certain fights and I'm happy he's competing and bringing attention to the sport.

I didn't like him at first, but I actually started to after he lost. I'm a Diaz bros fan so I was pretty happy he lost but I respect what hes done.

Nope, still like the guy's fighting style.
The way he walked through that division was pretty impressive.
The only thing I see happening is, should he really fight Mayweather, he'd get a huge paycheck and probably retire.

He's a great fighter but he's delusional just like his coach. He's got balls though and his style is exciting.

I am getting a bit bothered by all of the drama going on concerning him, but I am still a huge fan. I enjoy his fighting style, the energy he brings to the sport, and even the movement training he was doing with Ido "touch butt" portal. From a marketing standpoint, he went about it really smart. even his haters will still tune in to see him get beat. I just wish they'd hurry up and get his next fight figured out and scheduled, because hearing about him constantly without there even being a fight is a bit frustrating. but the whole "oh, he was never that good, he's all hype" talk is a bit silly. He's a dangerous fighter who with a bit more work on his cardio can beat anyone at 145, and most at 155. People tend to be really big band-wagoners on here, but I have stayed a fan throughout.
