I've recently done some training over in West Texas. Not a super big "territory" for wrestling but I'm just doing it for the fun of it and to check off some bucket list items. I took some bumps and ran the ropes for a bit. Taking bumps in the ring is more jarring as fuck. I wouldn't say it's "painful" but I have not done a lot of the acrobatic stuff yet.
I've previously done 2 years of MMA training, done some BJJ comps, and am about a year within getting a blue belt in BJJ. Comparing both, I'd say BJJ/MMA training is far more difficult while wrestling school is worse on the body overall. Personally, I would like to make a debut next year and perhaps win some titles. I could probably sell tickets in my hometown, even with my limited promo skills. I have not decided on a gimmick yet. I do plan on making the BJJ connection to my pro wrestling somehow.
Does anybody else have any experience with wrasslin school?
