Has anybody ever pulled off a "secret move"?

Arman would be wise to not give everyone the heads up about his incoming secret move. Maybe he’s that confident in it or maybe it’s just a psy op. Looking forward to seeing something unique on Saturday.

Shogun/Randleman
&
Silva/Chonan

Felt like legs were unlocked in a video game.

When Diaz landed Gogoplata on Gomi...
Most people's heads exploded.

The arona slam, hughes / newton,
Liver shots,
Shonie Carter's spinning backfist,
a bunch of anderson silva finishes.

He didn't announce it but Conors shoulder strikes on Cerrone was pretty original

Not original at all and it wasn't even the first time that year. You can find guys doing that in the clinch years before and after.

Cerrone was brought in because he had previously been stopped in the first round 5 times. Conor made it 6.

Fight exhibition talent, get exhibition results.

I toe kicked someone square in the asshole once, does that count?

Rumors say Brock was looking for F5 vs Overeem but got stopped before it could happen

Anderson Silva did that many years earlier, and the strike itself is even several hundreds years old.

When Silva did them I actually made a thread on here about how Silva perhaps took inspiration from The Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi (written around 1645).

Excerpt from The Book of Five Rings:

The Body Blow

The body blow is when you close in on an opponent’s side
and hit him with your body. Turning your face slightly to
the side and thrusting your left shoulder forward, you hit
him in the chest.

In making the hit, exert as much strength as possible
with your body; in making the hit, the idea is to close in
with a bound at the moment of peak tension.

Once you have learned to close in like this, you can knock
an opponent several yards back. It is even possible to hit an
opponent so hard that he dies.
This requires thorough training and practice.

The only "secret moves" I can think of were Silva/Machida's front kick or maybe Jones standing kimura wrench on Glover in clinch. Silva used to have a new technique he'd bring to mma every other fight.
