Has a Japanese fighter ever been busted for roids?

There are a lot of threads asking why Japanese fighters don't do as well as Americans and Brazilians in the UFC.

So I had another question. Has any Japanese fighter ever been busted for roiding?

I can't think of any, though Sexyama greasing against Sakuraba was cheating in a way that is arguably even worse than roiding.

Sakuraba really should've been grateful he was able to grab a prime greased up Sexyama, though. There are people all over the world, some of them women, that would pay top dollar for that opportunity.

I like how Rogan, Schaub, and co. all spew this out as if the UFC at that time wasn't also a roid Metropolis. Heck the UFC was still roid Metropolis until very very recently (and who knows, maybe it still is).

Tanaka tested positive and admitted to taking over the counter allergy meds. Riki Fukuda also got popped for over the counter cold medicine. These are the only two Japanese fighters I recall getting popped for anything in recent times.

are there enough japanese fighters in the UFC for this to be a statistically relevant argument? i would guess that less than 1 in 50 non-japenese fighters have tested positive in the UFC. not sure there have been 50 different japanese fighters in the UFC, even since 1993.

No but many Japanese have gotted thier ass busted by roid heads.

realistically who knows. They fought the majority of their career in pride, who didn't test, and only recently have started fighting under NA commissions
