Definitely he felt It! In that match Stipe was not mentally prepared to absorb so much damage probably also because he was not physically intact.

Ah, he did fall after this. Yeah, I don't think I ever noticed the knee he landed. Precious few seconds he saved himself.
Ellenberger really was the juggernaut. The likes of Hendricks, Woodley, and Lombard were getting these huge KO's with their massive stepping overhands, but maybe only Lawler could rival Jake's ability to generate massive power in such short shots.

There are a couple shots in here from pre-USADA Johny, especially the LH/RH around 4:02, that were knocking every other WW stiff but he never even knocked GSP down. Note: please don't derail with argument over who won.

I've only ever seen GSP lose equilibrium in a fight, which happened 3 times. (vs Serra, vs Condit and this round vs Hendricks which was less than in the other two fights)
