Hardest punch in the World? For real?

In the video they say Francis holds the World Record. That means he hits harder than WC boxers, which is hard to believe. Someone like Wilder who focuses solely on his arms should definitely out do him, unless Francis is a genetic freak.

so lemme see, thats a ufc athlete, promoting a ufc fight taking place 2 days after the video was posted, and the punch was recorded on a machine owned by the ufc, in a ufc institute?

according to the new ruler i just developed in the "In The Liver Performance Institute", i have the biggest cock in the world

Not sure i'd buy that video as infallible proof.

Ngannous power destroys people in MMA, but then the smaller gloves, lack of pause/recovery time for opponents after knockdowns, longer rounds (less chance of being saved by the bell) and opponents not knowing whether to expect a punch, kick, knee, elbow or takedown all makes it much easier to KO someone in that environment. Who knows how well his power would translate to boxing.

The hardest punch in the world thread and I go through 7 pages and no one has posted this:

Careful this one is NSFW...

It's hard not to mention Deontay Wilder. The man weights 212lbs and is knocking out cold men who weight 50lbs more than him.

I remember hearing the most consistently powerful striker was Spong

We can never know because there will always be someone out there who hits like a mule but isn't in the UFC or isn't even a fighter. So we can only roughly guess with the individuals we know. Basing it on their fights and even then it's going to be extremely difficult since knocking someone out has so many factors going into it. Such as: Were there opponents in their prime, did their opponents lean into the strike, how was their weight cut. etc..

So obviously "guesstimating" here.
In MMA:

Mark Hunt
- has to be up there, if not on the top. Frank Mir has stated that Mark Hunt is the hardest hitter he's fought. To put into context, Mir has fought a who's who of the heavyweight divisions hardest hitting men except Ngannou. He's fought JDS, Shane Carwin, Overeem and Roy Nelson.

Hunt also knocked out Roy Nelson with a short uppercut with not much windup on it. Roy Nelson after that fight then proceeds to fight Derrick Lewis 4 fights later and eats a flush, perfectly clean uppercut that was thrown all the way from Lewis leg and ate it like it was nothing.

Need tank Abbott to hit that.

Also James Irvin

And prime Rampage.
