Media Hardest hitting LW ever?

For sure! He got straight battered that fight. Now Chandler is gonna pound on that face some more here soon, poor Tony.

Justin broked Tony. Scary stuff.

Connor hits hard. Gray Maynard was an absolute beast at LW. Had the strength of a HW.

"Conor" has but one stoppage at LW.

The power has not proved to be there in this division.

Gaethje has slept like two people and one is in the hall of fame of glass chins in James Vick.

Gaethje obviously still hits very hard so I heard it bowlth ways but he mostly gets stoppages through a battle of nutrition b.

Gomi, Connor, Crazy Horse, Melvin Guillard etc are probably more pure, straight up power punchers than Gaethje.
+1
Gaethje def hits hard, but I think his 1-punch knockout power is overrated and he usually finishes people by volume.
Also of note is that he didn't finish Chandler while Olives did - although by the end of rnd 3 clearly Chandler had accumulated a pretty gnarly amount of damage.

Gotta be DC. He has the same frame as Poirier, but packed on enough mass that he was knocking out heavyweights.

You can't look at one fight.

Justin has a career full of ko/tko's.

Olivera is not a knockout artist and never has been.

Weird, cause they've got common opponents in Eddie, Khabib, Cerrone, and Poirier, and Conor KO'd 3/4 of them.

Justin meanwhile got KO'd himself by 2/4 of them and only KO'd 1/4.

I don't think so. Justin is a hard hitting LW but he was the hardest hitting LW ever. He also lacks power in both hands. Justin probably belongs to the group of guys who hits hard at LW. He would have put out guys like Dustin and Alvarez. Eddie doesn't have best stance so he is easy to hit.

Meaningless stat.

Conor has no knockout power at LW.

Justin has 19 knockouts at LW.

How many does Conman have?

Wow, it's almost as if having KO power doesn't equate to winning and there are other factors beside that...

Like what? Khabib's the only one who took either of them down instead of engaging in a standup fight. Conor KO'd them standing and Justin meanwhile got KO'd standing. It's not like Justin missed shots, he had all out wars and landed plenty and still couldn't put them away.

By what exact basis can you instead come away saying Conor doesn't hit harder than examples of him actually doing so? Seems more like you just want to ignore this bit of objective data.

Being 2-1 fighting at WW fighting LW gatekeepers. Sad flex.

You're the one who made a thread about power but seem to want to ignore someone who's shown power at a higher weight class than Justin has, which seems like a pretty strong bit of data for power determinations.

As things stand, it's Justin who's the one who appears to only hit hard for a LW, meanwhile Conor hits hard across 3 weight classes.

So you think Conor having one shoulder strike finish at WW against a washed LW Cerrone is in any way comparable to Justin having 19 knockouts at LW, and Conor only having 1?

Conor's punches are slow and weak and Justin hits like a truck.

Khabib felt both and this was his opinion.

"Washed Cerrone" is worth more than 95% of those LW KOs, and is himself one of them for Justin lol. And Conor also KO'd him quicker than Justin did, again at that higher weight class than Justin did.

Seems like he hit Cerrone harder than Justin did.

As for Khabib's opinion, Dustin said Conor hits harder than Justin did. So that cancels out.
