isn't the "buzz" kind of gone for this fight? or are people excited for the (probability) of a conor vs diaz 2? i'm kinda bummed it's not conor defending his 145 belt vs frankie.

I honestly could care less for this fight.


Outside of both fighters getting paid well, there's no gain in this for their careers or the fans.


Nate should be fighting for the LW title, and Conor should be defending the 145lbs belt.
 
Yeah, sucks for Frankie, but this is guys who transcend rankings duking it out.

I'm hyped.
 
Conor got humiliated, there is no point for a rematch.

I would be love to see Nate KO/TKO Conor in the second fight though.

The first fight was good fun, it's not the fight I would have booked but I'll look forward to seeing it.
 
It's nonsense to go two fights without defending and give a guy two cracks at the win so the first one can be excused away.

The only good thing is that Nate got himself another huge payday. I hope he wins again to put an end to this so the FW belt will be defended. It should be a good fight but I'd much rather have seen a different one.
 
I guess it makes sense for Conor and the UFC to cash in if they don;t think he can beat Edgar

I'd love to see Nate beat him again but this is a rematch that doesn't need to happen. At least not right now and especially not on UFC 200.
 
Connie got beat by an out of shape Diaz...but give Diaz a full camp to come in in shape and it should be different?!

If Conor wins, he redeems himself and he can do whatever he wants

If he loses, he looks like a joke.

It's more a deciding fight for Conor's career. Has no impact on Nate because he's going to make a shit ton of money regardless.
 
It's retarded. It screws over a
lot of fighters & there is no merit
that warrants conor an immediate
rematch. If it is the headlining fight,
I will not be paying for the event.

It isn't worth my money.

The thing is Conor already looks like a joke regardless of the outcome lol... Nate crushing him again wouldn't do anything for either man.


But like you implied, this is more of the UFC looking like a rinky dink sport by trying to milk their cash cow instead of promoting relevant fights.
