After seeing the replay and how hard the impact was with that angle, seems like there could easily have some damage done. Gus was unphased by anything but that shot push his neck down and back at the same time...very bad angle and definately stunned the hell out of him, almost making him "semi" paralysed if that means anything. He didn't seemed knocked out, just stunned. He was 100% coming back in the next round, unlike a typical knock out.
