Movies Happy Gilmore 2

Really? I thought Ben Stiller's character was the worst by far. He was boring as hell.

Shooter McGavin stole the show for me, he was hilarious.

It was pretty good, but I got a feeling the second half of the movie was probably written in 20 minutes.

I enjoyed shooter in this and them bringing back that one caddie he shoved to the ground in the first one to compete against him.

Its Big 5. Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer, Waterboy, and Big Daddy.
Same for me, co-signed. And I loved that's my boy, 50 first dates and anger management as well

It was fine as something to watch with the dog on a night when the wife went to bed early.

Shooter and Stiller were good. I thought the family stuff was a nice addition generally. The maxi stuff was dumb. Overall, it was fine but it didn't seem to know what movie it was trying to be.

The alcoholic part of it just felt slapped in there to be a serious part of a movie that didn't need it.

This was the definition of try hard. Cameos can be awesome but this is just try hard cringe scenarios.

lost all potential with his wife dying from a driving golf ball. That is so forced and desperate of a scenario. The 5 kids were also beyond try hard cringe.

It was not as bad as Dumb and Dumber To but this was not very good. It was just too much going on. It tried too hard to be funny and it was over the top. It does not take away from the original but I won’t be watching this again.

Cameo fest but if you liked the original you will probably like this.

It was a fair enough movie. Corny as hell, but still funny throughout most of it. Nothing can beat the original and for a sequel, I feel this did it some justice. The movie would’ve been a lot better without Happy’s kids. Daughter was ok, but the sons were just annoying.

Also liked how they made Shooter an ally.

Good entertainment. Don't expect it to be better than the first because it's impossible.

I enjoyed HG2. It was like an indie show with a bunch of legends past their prime, so you enjoy it for what it is. Adam always looks out for and books his friends, so I respect that.

Christopher McDonald absolutely stole the show.

I can understand people that hate it. I had zero expectations going in. We just turned our brains off and found some entertainment out of it.

It had its moments but the story was overall garbage to me, the whole turning the hips thing was stupid and changed the whole feel of the movie.
Happy’s boys and shooter were funny.
The sixth sense kid was such a fail, horrible horrible fail!
Sooooo disappointed

It was a pretty decent sequel. Is it as good as the original? Not even close, but it was entertaining and had some really funny bits. Compared to the usual crap movies Netflix puts out, this is like citizen Kane.

I thought the first part of the movie was better than the end, and there were a bit too many cameos. I do find it ironic and hilarious that the Maxi Golf league is supposed to be a satire on LIV golf, and yet they had two of LIV's biggest signings Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau playing for traditional golf/PGA tour.

I enjoyed it, but didn't love it.
I was amused, but the only laugh out loud moment I had that night was after I finished the movie and was watching reruns of Big Bang Theory.

It was decent. Glad it was on Netflix. So many callbacks to the original, which was wild. Julie Bowen has been hot since I was a kid. The cameos were insane.

I'm always rooting for Sandler, even if I don't like every movie he's in. He is the epitome of, "I'm going to make sure everyone is going to eat" when it comes to casting family and friends, and that I respect about him the most.

Ok, I actually watched it.
It was decent. It started strong but waned in the second half.

Some of these retro revival movies have been surprisingly good. The new Beverly Hills Cop movie was very good. At least I thought so. If this one had kept the same energy it had in the first half through to the end, it probably could have been really good.
