You don't think this is a good time to stop destroying and starving Gaza? And to stop talking about more illegal settlements? They never had an end game for Hamas in Gaza - and still don't. I have never claimed Israel's offensive was not 'effective' at killing and destroying. They are superb at blowing stuff up. But they are also far too zealous, too hawkish, and too blasé about civilian life and infrastructure no matter what their own investigations of their own activities says.
