As long as it's israelis doing it it's fine. No one bats an eye. Look at the reactions in this thread. Reverse the protagonist and the same people who can't be bothered would scream for scorched earth against those terrorists who breached the ceasefire.

Because they don't want to see the video. Now if the protagonists were reversed and a Hamas combattant had shot down an Israeli child 24h after the ceasefire you can bet they would all have viewed it and diffused it everywhere and used it as a reason for scorched earth operation. You know that anyway.

Hama is getting no incentive to actually give up the hostages. Netanyahu doesn't give a shit about them.

And it would be politically advantageous to him if they don't get released. Netanyahu is a scumbag.

Bibi is corrupt but Hamas empowers him....If Hamas dropped arms and completely surrendered then Bibi would have to deal with his trials. Then, Lapid or whomever is there could work with Abbas to actually implement a two state solution.

Furthermore, shouldn't you be happy about the hostages being released from both sides? Are you more mad about the Israeli Hostages being free than happy about the Palestinian ones being free?

You have to take down the Islamic Republic of Iran and Hamas for this to be possible. Even if you just exterminate Hamas, there isn't much insurance that terrorist groups would go away.

Also, Abbas is 89 now so he won't be able govern for another decade to suppress it if a two state solution gets fomented.
